27 aprile Pending UpdateAfter many months the nation and people of Uller have overcome the cowardly nuclear attacks of last year and are prospering well beyond my expectations.
Many developments in the government of Uller have transpired and will be made public as time and national security allows. General Accounting audits uncovered discrepencies in receipts from taxes, government expenses and the proposal for improvement swapping plans submitted to the Council of Oracles by the staff of Interior Minister Hurkkurk. Until this audit is complete and reviewed by the council the government will return to the original economic plan that the nation was founded on.

Firkked and General Von Schlichten have announced that the UJP war has been declared officially over with the Allies claiming victory. While Uller is still involved in a few conflicts worldwide, including the despised nation Republic of Dfu.
"These conflicts are minor but necessary" General Von Schlichten stated "The GOONS alliance showed no remorse in striking first with nuclear weapons in this war and we need to ensure that every last GOONS nation either surrenders or is disbanded into the dustbin of history". The general's statement also went on to address his personal and proffesional satisfaction at being able to engage the Republic of Dfu at the exact cusp before their nation must surrender or be disbanded "Our fallen soldiers and citizens have some final peace knowing this despicable nation will be truly neutralized for all time, their deaths will not have been in vain".
In other news the Ministry of Economics announced that they are following the IRON doctrine of "Improvement Swapping". This entails a period where no taxes are collected while all banks are replaced with public service labor camps, followed by the conversion of the labor camps back into banks to collect taxes. Today General Von Schlichten announced new military actions against the GOON nations 51st state, Diminix and Thirteenth Reich. "Every one of these nations are currently demilitarized" said the Chief of staff "Yet they still remain a threat to IRON".
Hoping to prevent nations with enough infrastructure and technology from slipping into peacetime rebuilding the Ulleran military was called into action. Of particular note is the nation 51st state, by switching their declared alliance from GOON to TOON they hoped to avoid detection by the IRON military.
Conn Maxwell of the Ministry of Information reports that two Ulleran citizens were killed in the nation of Sancia while touring a nuclear power facility, the incident is under investigation but no foul play is suspected. The Sancian press is flooded with reports of surges in background radiation near nuclear weapon storage facilities nationwide, the two events appear to be unrelated at this time.
Fenris police arrested Victor Grego, founder of the anti-war group FishNotBullets, for inciting riots during the last military emergency. Law enforcement officials found several thousand anti-government pamphlets aimed at organizing and recruiting dissidents for the purpose of deposing the Oracles of Uller. There were also reports of large caches of weapons, cash and illicit narcotics on the Grego property. Today representatives presented First Oracle Firkked with the prestigious "IRON Warrior" medal for his nation's actions against the GOONS nations DfU4ever, Les Invisibles and Veggeberg. This is the first public appearance by Firkked in over two weeks and Ullerans were relieved to see him in overall good health and spirits, although he did not address the assembled crowd and was hurried in and out by agents of the Information Ministry.
The Iron representative stated "This war is not over, there are still many GOONS with nuclear weapons" the crowd was warned "and Uller still has a vital role to play in this struggle". The representative went on to congratulate the Ullerans for there perseverance and generosity in general.
Peace demonstrators attempted to infiltrate the crowd but were removed by Information Ministry agents. In a press conference earlier this morning Armed Forces Chief of Staff Carlos Von Schlichten formally returned all government functions back to the Ministries of Interior and Information. General transit between land and marine settlements will no longer require authorization, limits on fishing and the purchase of imported food are no longer applicable. Although curfews have been eliminated for over a week several organizations have expressed concern that assemblies are only now being allowed.

Today all services both marine and land have been restored and the last military curfew has been rescinded. Uller has temporarily ceased all hostilities in the current alliance conflicts and has entered a rebuilding mode. Interior Minister Hurkkurk reports the loss of 45% infrastructure and 52% total nation size.

Good citizens of Uller we have been suffering a grave crisis since we have joined in the military endeavours spanning the entire globe. For more than 6 months we built this nation on the premise of unity, harmony and disdain for the "politics of the mainstream" so prevalent in the nations we left.
There is a growing voice across all ranks in this nation that decry our war obligations to IRON, but I have been to the alliance halls and heard the praises of your sacrifices and heroism in the face of multiple enemies stronger than yourselves. Your actions, both civilian and military, have been an inspiration to our IRON brothers and sisters. I commend you in this.
We have been pledged aid both in the short term and in rebuilding this nation once these conflicts are resolved. Other nations belonging to IRON and associated alliances are committed to attacking the nations wreaking havoc on our land.
Many have lost loved ones, homes on our land and even peace of mind. I myself have suffered these losses: two brothers, the hut I built on my first day on Uller and many fine citizens that I was charged to protect and guide through life.

Early this morning our First Oracle and national leader boarded a high speed submersible bound for the IRON headquarters intent on lobbying for funds to help rebuild during this time of war and to seek military assistance to crush the vile nation of DFU4ever.
The nation's hope and survival depend on his success. War declared on nation of AmnesialabFenris news has finally been able to contact its field reporters embedded with the 43rd Mechanized Infantry after nearly two days of blackouts caused by the recent nuclear devastation.
In support of IRON military goals Firkked has directed troops to attack the nation of Amnesialab with the hope of helping end alliance hostilities through the destruction of this key enemy.
A firm beachhead was established on the first day with troops controlling key ports and airstrips almost immediately. Amnesialab's primary university and natural history museum was also captured along with two televison studios. By the second day enemy troops had rallied and began to beat back our forces, were it not for the timely intervention of fellow IRON miltary units from Martino and PE Shang many Ulleran soldiers would have been lost on foreign shores.
As it stands now our combined forces have put the enemy on a defensive rout with a possible end to hostilities in the near future. Ullerans are hereby directed to report to their aquatic habitats if they have not already done so, those in need of medical attention will be treated by the navy medical submersibles as identified by habitat medical computers.

Late last night the Ulleran army received a boost from the Haga National Marines and helped execute a breakthrough deep into enemy territory. The advance was sudden enough that the combined IRON armor reached Sparta, their capitol city. General Themistocles M'Zangwe addressed an impromptu news conference with the limited media embedment.
"With the help of the Haga Nationals the might of IRON is prepared to crush this nation" The General spoke forcefully "and our offer of standard surrender terms were rejected outright". It was stated that the war will continue to escalate over the next few days before a clear victory can be established and while casualties are expected the Ulleran people have prepared well for this critical period.
Attacks continued throughout the briefing, a sure indication that the heaviest fighting is yet to come.
The First Oracle, Firkked, has offered the services of the Ulleran nation as a R&R destination for IRON armed forces engaged across the Pacific rim. 16 settembre Uller goes to warYesterday the nation of Uller declared war against Neo-Sparta, a stooge of the GOON alliance. After successfully knocking out key radar installions with our cruise missile and eliminating key power and communications networks with our advanced airforce we attacked with an untried army and suffered sharp losses. A distinct and vocal minority began a peace vigil outside the Oracle's temple.
